Editing session 4

Today was the day that we finished ordering the clips, however we are still opening to altering them in case they don't fit further down the line, however at the moment we have put them in the order we think will look good for our psychological horror.

Here is aan image that we cropped, because we filmed it on
my phone the footage was portrait instead of landscape,
we would eventually lead to problems with continuity,
so we decided to see what it would look like cropped and
it didn't distort the footage so we decided to keep it.
This is a before shot of the raw footage before me and my group
cropped it, so we could ensure continuity was continued
throughout our trailer.
During our lesson we also played around with the different
effects that you can apply to the footage. We wanted one of
are shots to look distorted or shaken, and we found an effect
was called distorted. So I applied it to our raw footage
however it didn't look effective enough so we decided
to remove it. However we might consider it for another
shot type, we will decide further upon this when we
start adding effects properly, as this was a suggestion whilst
I thought about it.
