Today after school I assembled our actors and actresses for our cult, and we all walked to my house to start filming our remaining shots. With these shots being filmed in the light, I have suggested that we when we come to edit the footage on Final Cut Pro X we colour match these shots with the ones we did on Thursday 29th October, so we have continuity and also so it looks more sinister. As one of the conventions of a psychological horror are shadows and darkness, and this is a convention I want to conform to.
Here is a long shot that I did of the cult members walking up the path way towards my house. I think that this shot would be a bit boring if we were to leave is at its original speed, so I have suggested that we use jump cuts here to speed the process up, and add a sinister turn to it because the audience won't be expecting it. Or we could increase the speed on the Macs when we come to edit it on Final Cut Pro X.
Here is the raw footage of another long shot that I did, again I want to colour match this footage to footage that is much darker to add a sinister sense to it. With this footage I want to cut it up and use it in a montage of fast paced images within the trailer, due to the shaky movement towards the end of the footage, which was due to having the incorrect tri-pod, as my phone was too small or it so I had to hold it to keep it more secure.
