BBFC

Our audience will be a mixture of male and female, however it will be mainly males as horror films are considered more favourable by men. Are age range is 15-25, so are BBFC rating for our trailer piece is going to be a 15, this is so that the conventions fit with the rateing we have picked.

 

 

 

BBFC rating U

• Aimed at very young viewers.
• There Shouldbe no reference to the terms of discrimination, drugs, imitable behaviour, language, nudity, sex, threat or violence.
• Characters may be seen kissing and there may be references to sexual behaviour.

BBFC rating PG

• Parental guidence.
• This means a film is suitable for general viewing, but some scenes may be unsuitable for young children.
• PG works can explore challenging issues such as bullying, bereavement or racism.

BBFC rating 12A and 12

• Contain material that is not generally suitable for children aged under 12, they are suitable for children over the age of 12 upwards.
• There may be moderate language.
• Sex may be briefly and discreetly showed o references to.

• Violence
• Frequent strong language
• Portrayals of sexual activity

BBFC rating 18

• Very strong violence
• Frequent strong language
• Strong portrayals of sexual activity
