Narrative hint

For our narrative we have decided that we may have the boyfriend cheating on his girlfriend. The girl that he cheats with may possible be the antagonist within the plot of our story. However our narrative is not set in stone just yet because later on in the week we our having a focus group session with some individuals from our target audience. We aim to have around ten to fifteen people in our focus group, we will pitch them a brief outline of our narrative and then ask them non leading questions to get their view to ensure that we are appealing to the right target audience. We were thinking of including the quote 'Apologies don't mean anything if you keep doing what you're sorry for.' This is our hint to the audience of the dishonesty that will be occurring within the trailer.
These images below are of the idea that me and Amber had about using the quote that we found to incorporate it into our trailer. We want to include the first few lies of the quote then we were thinking of including more images of the movie and then finish the sentence of a little later into the trailer. In the sinister trailer there are thirty seconds between the start of the sentence and then the sentence being finished of. This also made we want to continue to watch the trailer because I wanted to know what the rest of the sentence said and whether it hinted to the narrative of the trailer, and if it gave any clues away. The quote in the trailer is very relevant to the film because they're trying to take the children away, and they is also displaying slightly in the trailer. It more hinted at to add enigma and make the audience watch it.
